As mentioned in my last blog entry, Lillestrøm has given up on trying to land Wizards
favorite Jimmy Conrad. That news alone was great to hear for any Wizards fan, but now days later,
comes this great news as well.

Obviously, MLS listened to me in my last entry, and the league is looking to lock Jimmy up for the
rest of his playing career.

It's been a few days since I have made any posts. I hope none of you had MLSU withdrawal.
Luckily, not too much has happened. A brief overview of some important things to note from the past
couple of days. The United States will host China in San Jose in June. Robbie Rogers has been given
his release from his contract with Dutch club Heerenveen and will return to MLS.

Former college star Chase Hilgenbrinck started once again for Deportivo Ã'ublense as
they faced Chilean giants Universidad Católica on Wednesday.

The former Huachipato defender was fundamental in the Diablos Rojos emotional 3-3 draw against
Universidad Católica here in the south of Chile.

The native of Quincy, Illinois and Clemson University alum was fundamental in
Ã'ublense's rise to the first division.
