The Toronto Sun is reporting this morning that English striker Andy Welsh,
formerly of Sunderland and Leicester, is on trial with Toronto FC. According to Mo
Johnston, Welsh has been "very impressive." Having been born in 1983, Welsh
would therefore be eligible for Youth International status if signed by the Toronto.
