UEFA Super Cup ticket sales launched

UEFA has today launched the general public sales for the UEFA Super Cup 2008 to be held at ‘Stade Louis II’ in Monaco on Friday 29 August at 20:45 CET.

These tickets will be available to the neutral football fans who would like to attend the UEFA Super Cup match. Supporters of the two finalist clubs Manchester United FC and FC Zenit St. Petersburg will be served via their clubs directly.

Interested fans can apply for tickets exclusively via www.uefa.com, from Monday 7 July starting at 12.00 hrs (CET) until Monday 21 July at 12.00 hrs (CET).

Tickets available for general public are Category 1 (Première) centrally located in the opposite main stand at a price of €70, and Category 2 (Seconde) located in the corner opposite the main stand at a price of €40. The administrative fee is €5 per application. Payment can be made by credit card only.

Sales will be restricted to a maximum of two tickets per person and the applicants must accept the ticketing terms and conditions. Incorrect or incomplete applications will be rejected. All valid applications received during the above-mentioned period will go into a ballot if demand exceeds supply. Applicants will be informed until 31 July if they have been successful or not. The tickets will not be dispatched and they must be collected by the applicant from the Ticket Collection Point at the main entrance on 28 August from 10:00 to 18:00 or on 29 August from 10:00 to 16:00. The applicant should present a copy of the winner’s confirmation email and also a valid ID document.

The net capacity of the Stade Louis II has been fixed at 18,000. A total of 75 per cent of the tickets are reserved for the general public and supporters of the two clubs, Manchester United FC and FC Zenit St. Petersburg, who are distributing their allocations directly to their fans.
