Paris Saint-Germain announced on their official website that sporting director Leonardo will leave the club at the end of transfers window, that will be on September 2 in France. “The management regret this decision but respect it. The leadership expresses thanks the outstanding work done to build a top European club and wishes Leonardo success in his brilliant career”, says PSG on their official website. On July 4, the Appeals Court of the French Football Federation (FFF) has decided that the Paris Saint-Germain club’s sporting director, Leonardo, to be suspended from all official functions until 30 June 2014. Leonardo shoved referee Alexandre Castro in the halls of the Parc des Princes Stadium, in the match against Valenciennes. Also PSG received three-point penalty with suspention suspended for next season. A former coach at AC Milan and Inter Milan, Leonardo came to PSG two years ago. Since his arrival in the French capital Leonardo managed several successful transfers and managed to build at the Parc des Princes a team that now can fight in the Champions League with the most powerful football clubs. PSG last year won the first title in Ligue 1 after a break of two decades. His contribution to the club has been considered so far, and one of the best business done was with AC Milan, his former team, when he transferred to Paris on Thiago Silva and Ibrahimovic, two players that are main pieces of the champion team .
